No, we should not ignore it; it is a moral concern. The Church has been pretty clear that IVF is an intrusion on the womb of the woman that goes outside the accepted means of impregnating her, which is the marital act, so the Church has made her stand. The world does not follow the rules of the Church and gets itself into all kinds of trouble: people take birth control pills and abortifacients and end up with breast cancer, uterine cancer, and other problems. If you do not follow the rules God has laid down, either you get the natural ill effects that come from them or you get God's punishment; just as AIDS may be a direct punishment from God for homosexual activity, or it could simply be the natural course of things when you disobey. God has built a safeguard into the mechanism, so when you start playing around with the uterus and the fallopian tubes, it reacts, and then you have to deal with it. That is the story on IVF.
