Schism and DissentAnswered

What do you think of Mary's Little Remnant, the sede group claiming the Church has been apostate since the 12th century?

A viewer asks what Robert thinks of Mary's Little Remnant, a sedevacantist group that claims the Church has been apostate since the 12th century and points to church art with nudity and demonic imagery as proof.

Answer

Oh my gosh, they claim that church artistry that features nudity and demonic imagery proves the church is apostate. Boy, you get all kinds of wrinkles. It's amazing. But all it proves to me is that, yes, each century of the church has its problems, and they're grave problems. I mean, I would hate to live back in the 12th century. Now that I'm used to the 21st century and all the modern conveniences we have and all that, I'd hate to live back then. So, Mary's Little Remnant. I don't think much of them, okay? All they're doing is showing that in each century there's going to be people that think exactly like they're thinking today. Nothing changes. It's all been seen before. Yeah, I've heard of Richard Ibranyi before, but whenever you find cultish-like activity, look for a cult leader. And there we have one.
