Calvary and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass?

What does it really mean that Christ is sacrificed for us? Why does God require a sacrifice at all? How do we answer Protestants who charge that Catholics “kill Christ over and over again” on the altar, and how do we make the Mass come alive for ourselves and our children? Robert Sungenis focuses on the sacrificial heart of the Holy Mass: the means by which God the Father is appeased and propitiated, seeing the once-for-all Sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross perpetuated until the end of time. He also corrects a common misunderstanding, that Jesus paid the full legal payment for our sins on the Cross. He did not; rather, he purchased the way, the opportunity, for our reconciliation with the Father. For if the full legal payment had already been made, no one could ever be lost, since a debt truly paid once cannot be charged a second time. Includes questions and answers.
