HOW THE WORLD WAS MADE IN SIX DAYS: Day 3

Genesis tells us that on the third day of creation God gathered the waters and drew forth the dry land, and that the earth first brought forth living plants. This third installment of the documentary series How the World Was Made in Six Days takes up those events and asks what they mean when read with the whole tradition of the Church behind them.

The film joins theological depth to scientific inquiry. Drawing on the Fathers and Doctors of the Church and on a careful exegesis of the original Hebrew and Greek texts, the series sets out to offer what it describes as the most biblically sound and scientifically viable account of our origins presented to the modern age. This volume centers on the separation of land and sea and the creation of the first vegetation, and features the teaching of the Kolbe Center for the Study of Creation.
