Does the Bible Allow Homosexuality?

The claim under examination is the one most people are now taught: that homosexuality is no sin at all, only a matter of genetics. Sungenis argues the contrary case from Scripture, and further that homosexual acts rank among the gravest sins. Most of the work goes into the standard biblical texts and into the modernist and liberal attempts to reinterpret them, which are met with exegesis of the passages rather than an appeal to authority.

Two of those attempts are singled out for critique: Cheri Dinovo, and Michael Coogan's 2010 book God and Sex: What the Bible Really Says. The book closes with a candid analysis of the Catholic clerical homosexual scandal of the late twentieth century.
