Well, there's nothing that promises salvation. Heaven does not deal that way. Heaven says, if you continue in the prayers and devotions that have been designed for you to acquire the grace of God, the ultimate end of that is salvation in heaven, but it doesn't guarantee salvation for anyone. So you avoid the sin of presumption because there's nothing to presume. If it's not promising heaven, you can't presume that, right?
