Body-Soul UnityAnswered

If the soul is the life of the body, how do transplanted organs and blood cells stay alive apart from the body?

A viewer asks how, given that the soul is the spirit of life, transplanted organs and blood cells stay alive apart from the body.

Answer

Given the soul or spirit of life, we don't know where the soul resides, okay? It could be all over our body or it could be in one little compartment of our body. We don't know. All we know is the soul is a spirit essence of our identity. That's about all we know, which is not much. So an organ, say your liver, transplanted from you to someone else doesn't necessarily contain your soul. I mean, your soul could be in a different organ or it could be throughout the body. So if the liver was cut off, then the soul would go back into the rest of the body. We don't know how it works. But we do know that you retain your own soul. That's for sure.
