No. The sun is the geometric center of the universe, and the stars are centered around the sun, but you should think of the sun and the stars together as one big ball, and that whole ball goes around the earth. So the stars are not revolving around the sun; they are in fixed positions relative to the sun, and the whole assembly rotates about the earth. Why around the earth? Because the earth occupies the center of mass of the universe, and by the physics definition a sphere rotates about its center of mass. The only difference for the sun is that it has its own slight motion in the opposite direction, a retrograde motion of about one degree per day, which carries it backward through the twelve constellations of the zodiac. So the sun, moon, comets, planets, quasars, and galaxies all go around clockwise every day because the universe carries them, while the sun drifts back about one degree per day, and the moon about thirteen degrees per day, completing its circuit in roughly twenty-seven and a half days.
