Is God bound by the rules of logic?
A viewer asks whether, since the Eucharist and creation from nothing seem to show God is not limited by the rules of logic, those rules apply only to the earthly realm.

God is limited by the rules of logic, so you have to be careful there, and I would never go against Thomas on that. God cannot go against the rules of logic and say two plus two equals five; He cannot make a square circle; He cannot make another God bigger and better than Himself, because those are all lies. A square circle is a lie; logic tells you there is no such thing. Now there may be things you think are logical that turn out to be possible because you have not thought them all out, but when we use logic correctly we can determine whether something is true or false. So what we say about God is not that He can go against logic, but that He cannot go against what is true; He cannot lie, and that is the only thing God cannot do, because that covers every territory. And that applies to heaven, earth, and purgatory alike; place has nothing to do with it.
