Is Tesla's zero-point energy real, and can it be harnessed?

Zero-point energy is a term used in quantum mechanics for energy that is ubiquitous over the whole universe, and it is an enormous amount of energy. Quantum mechanics has discovered a whole invisible world beneath the visible one, far smaller and far more powerful than the world we live in. The visible world has its sources of energy, the stars, the sun, magnetism, nuclear forces, electricity, but those are minuscule compared to the energy found in the quantum world. The problem is that you cannot tap into it. When they tried to use the zero-point energy field as the engine for the expansion of the universe, it turned out to be too much energy, by ten to the 120th power too much. If you put a tap into that, like a tap into a barrel of beer, it would incinerate you and everything around you within a half a second. That is why Tesla never got anywhere with it, and neither will anyone else. It is forbidden territory. God built it that way on purpose, because that dense, tiny entity is there to hold everything together; space is not nothing, every little nook and cranny is a something. So the answer is no, we cannot use it, and we are lucky we cannot, because the whole universe would be incinerated.
