Why didn't Jesus warn Judas against suicide the way He warned Peter about denial?

It comes down to intent. Judas's intent was to do real harm to Jesus, using him as a pawn in his own struggle with the Sanhedrin; he wanted a political outcome, the Jews reigning and the Romans overthrown, and Jesus was merely his instrument. It was all political for him, until he discovered it would not go as he hoped. Peter was completely different. Peter is the one who stood up and confessed, you are the Messiah, where else are we going to go; that is a man who is following and learning as he goes. When Peter slipped, it was not because he hated Jesus but because he was a coward; he loved Jesus but did not yet know how to overcome his cowardice. That is the kind of man you can teach and put on the right path, and he will stay on it. So Jesus warned and guided Peter because Peter was his man, while Judas had set himself against him; it is the difference between two entirely different kinds of people.
