The Copernican Conspiracy

A novel set at St. Robert Bellarmine College. Two devout Catholic sophomores, Joshua Gemelli and Mary McGinnis, and their new friend Suresh Verma come to the conclusion that the physics they are studying, read in its plainest sense, leaves the Earth motionless at the center of the universe, and that this reading is stated in the scientific literature and then buried.

Against them stands Professor Samuel Richenstein, who holds for the Copernican Principle and the Big Bang and intends to see the three of them silenced. The premise puts an argument about physics inside a campus story, and the author leaves the verdict on who has read the data rightly with the reader.
