I do not think so, because a supernova takes an extended period to display; it explodes into vast open space, so from Earth you see hardly any movement from year to year, like watching slow motion. Supernovas are rare, and when you see one you do not know whether you are looking at the beginning, middle, or end, so you cannot build a young-Earth argument on it. But you do not need a supernova; just look at the pictures from the James Webb Space Telescope and you have your proof. The Big Bang predicted that the first galaxies, at the edge of the universe, would be very immature, because galaxies take a long time to form, and there are only about 13.78 billion years to work with. But the James Webb Telescope sees only mature galaxies at the edge of the universe, some of them spectacular, like one that looks like a wagon wheel, with a central core, a ring around the perimeter, and spokes connecting them, as if someone designed it. That totally refutes the Big Bang, and now they are scratching their heads, wondering whether to admit it or to pretend they have an answer, the way they did with dark matter and dark energy, which they still cannot find. But people can see these pictures for themselves.
