Hugh Miller's carbon-dating work is complete, and his notes are being organized for publication. On Hildegard: the case for a fixed Earth rests on Scripture, the Fathers, and physics, and St. Hildegard's visions agree with it. Hugh Miller, my longtime friend and the paleontologist who led the Paleo Group, has passed away. He gave me all his notes, and I have them on my hard drive. His tests on dinosaur bones and soft tissue found carbon-14 levels in every sample corresponding to less than 50,000 years, not the 70 million or more that paleontology claims. He is not doing more work, of course, but he already made his mark. I still have to collate it into book form. I am behind, because I have four or five other projects going and less energy than I used to. On Hildegard: the case for geocentrism stands on Scripture, the consensus of the Fathers, the medievals, and papal and conciliar decrees, and it is physically viable on its own. St. Hildegard of Bingen, whom the Church named a Doctor in 2012, saw in her visions a universe that agrees with that foundation. I wrote The Geocentric Universe According to St. Hildegard to show how her model, including a daily rotation that keeps the ether rigid, fits modern physics. The physical point underneath is simple. Space has real properties. It is not a mathematical void. It interacts with matter, light, and gravity. Space is something, not nothing.
