Why does general relativity allow the universe to expand faster than light but not to rotate?

It is just another contradiction. Under special relativity nothing can exceed the speed of light, which is slow on cosmological scales, so the Big Bang could not expand fast enough to make the universe we see. So they switch to general relativity, which allows super-luminal speeds, and invoke inflation, expanding ten to the thirty-fifth meters in ten to the minus twenty-sixth seconds. Then in 1998 the supernova data forced them to say the universe is accelerating at about four times the speed of light, again using general relativity. But when you ask why our own galaxy and Andromeda are not expanding, they say it is only space expanding, not the matter, a distinction they cannot prove, since everything is made of space. So they allow super-luminal expansion but deny rotation. It is one contradiction after another, which happens once you abandon a circular, rotating universe.
